What the press is saying
The gospel according to Paul....Estro that is! With humor and brutal honesty, plus a quirky wit, Paul Estro takes on issues concerning the 21st Century American Church. Mixing blues, country, rock, folk and rock-a- billy this CD will leave you laughing, singing, toe tapping and thinking. With a Master's in Theology and a lifetime in the roadhouse Paul Estro presents the church from the perspective of the everyman. WIth lyics often of two, or three, meanings this CD will be one you will have to listen to over and over again to finally realize the ultimate meanings of the message. A truely unique CD, check it out.

RadioIndy is pleased to present Paul Estro with a GrIndie Award for the CD "Paul Estro " Paul Estro's self-titled debut forges a new and delightful territory in the country gospel music scene. Estro’s raw and witty lyricism, coupled with his intimate Southern backwoods-style vocal intonations, fuses to create a palatable and innovative collection unlike its contemporaries. Throughout the 8-song CD, Estro relies on twangy guitar and female Gospel chorus - not to mention the occasional power chord - to deliver songs that extol the virtues of his faith, while skewering the trappings of the modern church. Moreover, the musicianship of this work is exceptional in technique and caters well to the emotions each song intends to invoke. Highlights include the country shuffle, “The Church of McWill," a Guitar Town-era, Steve Earle-like rocker called “Welcome Home," and the catchy “Pastor Martin is Coming.” Fans of country gospel marked by clever satire will find a humorous solace in this memorable debut. -Rice B. and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team

Check out my interview I did for Junior's Cave magazine. You can hit the website from the front page here. I also just recieved news that my music is going to be played on www.bbn4Jesus.org out of El Paso Texas. That will bring my music up to over 20 webstations here in the US and in europe.
I got invited to play a showcase in Nashville in October.
Had a great time, got to play Rocket Town (Rckt twn) and the Blue Bird Cafe. Nashville is a nice city but they have a serious coffee crisis. Broadway needs a coffee shop! My kingdom for a DD.

Irene's Coffee House on Thursday Nov. 12th. We had over 100 people come worship and enjoy an evening of Christian music. I really want to thank Sound Foundation, Jim and Lynn Bishop, The AOG praise team, The McDonalds and Tim Dyer , all of whom dedicated their time and talent to make this event such a success. We would like to expand this event to other venues around the area. There seems to be a desire for this kind of ministry. If you know of any coffee houses or places that would be interested, have them drop me a line or have them stop by next month to see for themselves what God has done here. God bless.
